Travelling with little ones? Cooking quinoa in a thermal flask for your baby is a great idea, as it retains the heat and keeps the porridge soft and ready to serve without needing a stove or additional equipment. Let us do the leg work so you don’t have to!
Here’s the instructions for our Thermal Flask challenge to cook Quinoa porridge from raw quinoa!
🔥 Ingredients
2 Tablespoon Raw quinoa
Freshly BOILED water (From Kettle or Stove. Not dispenser)
A thermal flask
1 Tsp Lilo Premium White Bait Powder
1 Tsp Lilo Premium Corn Powder (or any Lilo 100% Food Powders of your choice)
🍚 Instructions:
1. Rinse the quinoa with water and drain.
2. Add the drained quinoa into the thermal flask
3. Add BOILING Water to 3/4 full
4. Tightly seal and swirl the flask
5. Wait for 45 mins
6. Open the flask & check texture—if not soft enough, re-seal and wait longer.
7. Add Lilo Premium White Bait Powder & Lilo Premium Corn Powder for added nutrients and taste!
8. Its ready!
✅ Tips:
* Use BOILING water to maintain heat.
* You can bring your Lilos in small zip lock bags to use overseas too!
