Lazy Tomato Rice (Toddler - Rice Cooker Edition)
(Serves 3-4 adults, suitable for the whole family)
A simple, nutritious, and delicious meal for busy days! This easy-to-make Lazy Tomato Rice comes together in a rice cooker, with vibrant vegetables, tender chicken, and a hint of savory mushroom and shrimp powder. Perfect for toddlers and the whole family!
Ingredients:
1 cup rice
1 cup water (adjust to ¾ cup if you prefer drier rice)
1 tomato, cut into chunks
1 green capsicum, diced
1 red capsicum, diced
1 cup corn niblets
200g thinly sliced chicken strips
2 tsp Lilo Premium Mushroom Powder
1 tsp Lilo Premium Shrimp Powder
Instructions:
1. Prep the Ingredients:
Dice the vegetables (green capsicum, red capsicum, and tomato) into small pieces.
Marinate the thinly sliced chicken with 1 tsp of Lilo Premium Mushroom Powder for extra flavor.
2. Set up the Rice Cooker:
Add 1 cup of washed rice and 1 cup of water to the rice cooker.
Stir in 1 tsp each of Lilo Premium Mushroom Powder and Lilo Premium Shrimp Powder.
3. Add the Ingredients:
Add the diced vegetables, corn niblets, and marinated chicken on top of the rice.
Place the chunks of tomato on top as a garnish.
4. Cook:
Close the rice cooker and set it to cook until everything is well-cooked and the rice is fluffy.
5. Cool Down & Serve:
