Halloween Mee Hoon Kueh
(Toddler + BLW friendly)

Makes about 2 Toddler servings

Ingredients:
100g plain flour (divide into two 50g portions)
70ml water (divide into two 35ml portions)
1 tsp Lilo Premium Pumpkin Powder
1-2 tsp Lilo Premium Purple Sweet Potato Powder
Popote Tomato Puree
Sesame seeds (for decoration)
1 tsp oil (for smoothness)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Dough:
Separate the 100g of plain flour into two 50g portions, placing each in a separate bowl.
To one bowl, add Lilo Premium Pumpkin Powder and mix well.
To the other bowl, add Lilo Premium Purple Sweet Potato Powder and mix well.

2. Form the Dough:
Add 35ml of water to each bowl (one bowl at a time) and knead the mixture into a smooth dough. If the dough feels too dry or stiff, adjust the water-to-flour ratio by adding a little more water as needed.
 Add ½ tsp of oil to each dough to enhance smoothness and texture.

3. Shape the Dough:
Lightly flour your work surface to prevent the dough from sticking.
Roll out each dough separately into thin sheets.
Use Halloween-themed cookie cutters to cut out shapes (such as pumpkins, ghosts, or bats). Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the Mee Hoon Kueh to add a festive touch and texture.

4. Boil the Mee Hoon Kueh:
Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil.
Carefully drop the shaped Mee Hoon Kueh into the boiling water.
Boil until the shapes float to the surface, which usually takes about 3-5 minutes.

5. Assemble the Dish:
Once the Mee Hoon Kueh is ready, remove it from the boiling water and set it aside.
Place a generous squeeze of Popote Tomato Puree into a bowl as the base sauce.
Arrange the Halloween Mee Hoon Kueh on top of the tomato puree.


6. Serve and Enjoy!
