🐟 Baby Salmon Potato Balls (BLW & rice cooker edition - 8 Months & above)
Ingredients (makes ~10–12 small balls)
100g boneless baby salmon fillet
1 medium potato, peeled and chopped
2 tbsp grated carrot
2 tbsp finely chopped broccoli florets (soft, no stems)
1/2 tsp Lilo Premium Garlic & Onion Powder
1/4 tsp Lilo Premium Scallop Powder
🧑🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare
Peel and cut potato into chunks. Grate the peeled carrot and cut the broccoli florets.
Marinate salmon with Lilo Premium Garlic & Onion Powder
2. Steam the Salmon & Veggies
Put all ingredients in a rice cooker divider by and steam for 30-40 minutes or until cooked through.
3. Combine the Mixture
In a bowl, mix the steamed potato, salmon, veggies, and Lilo Premium Scallop Powder
Mix until evenly combined. The mixture should be soft but hold shape when rolled.
4. Form Balls
Scoop and roll into baby-sized balls (about 1 tablespoon each).
5. Serve
Option 1 (Soft): Serve as-is for babies who prefer soft textures.
Option 2 (Lightly Crisp): Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes or pan-sear lightly on a non-stick pan for a gentle outer crust.
🥦 Serve & Store
Serve warm. Let cool to baby-safe temperature before serving.
Can be refrigerated for 2 days or frozen for up to 1 month.
